Installation Engineer (Netherlands)

Our Installation Engineers are responsible for the installation of equipment to a complex system, in some of the most prestigious homes and superyachts across the globe.
This position would suit someone with a keen interest in AV and knowledge of infrastructure – cabling, terminating, and testing of copper and fibre, but more predominantly the practical installation methods of equipment, from large racking systems to mounted displays and cinema systems.

This is a full-time position with occasional overtime. Most work is performed Monday to Friday from 9-5.

Job role:

  • Read, understand, and interpret the schematics, construction drawings and our internal systems.
  • Onsite installation of all equipment including projectors, displays and speakers.
  • Installation and connection of Equipment racks once delivered to site.
  • Termination of lighting racks and fitting of lighting keypads.
  • Ensuring the delivery of equipment and supplies to site are on time and accurate.

Additional Tasks:

  • Maintain daily communication with team leaders on the status of projects and task lists.
  • Maintaining accurate up to date records of the onsite installation and termination.
  • Liaising with other internal departments and project contractors.
  • To inform the project team of any changes regarding the project.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in the industry or similar role
  • Confidence and competence in using hand power tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Good fault-finding skills to resolve technical issues.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to get a job done right.
